Use a small speaking structure
After reading a short passage, close it and start with its main point. Give one example that makes the point easier to follow. End with a sentence explaining why the idea matters. Aim for 60 seconds.
Choose a prompt
Explain how the process in the passage works. Describe one cause and its effect. Compare two ideas from the reading. Choose one prompt for your first take and keep it for the retry.
Listen for the point
When you listen back, find the sentence that answers the prompt. If it arrives late, start your second take with that sentence. Check that the example supports it and that the ending adds a conclusion instead of another topic.
Move to a fresh topic
